Iraqi commission against manual recount of votes

<p style="text-align:left">Iraq&amp;rsquo;s Independent High Elections Commission announced it would appeal against a parliamentary decision to manually recount the entire ballots from the recent parliamentary election in Iraq.

"The commission will exercise its constitutional and legitimate right to file a complaint against the third amendment to the updated law on election to the parliament… because it contains a number of breaches," Sputnik quoted a statement by the commission.
The statement comes a day after the Iraqi parliament ordered the manual recounting of entire votes across the country in response to various complaints from several political factions, Basnews reported.
The parliament has also dissolved the electoral commission, appointing nine judges to the temporary office.
