Iraqi president is against annulling Peshmerga votes

<p style="text-align: left;">Iraqi President, Fuad Masoum, expressed his opposition to an Iraqi parliament bill which asks for annulling the votes of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga, stressing that he personally demanded for not annulling the votes of the Kurdish forces.

The Iraqi Kurdish president and a leading member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) reiterated that attempts for annulling election result in Kurdistan Region and the votes of Peshmerga would lead into no avail.

Oppositions were expressed to the result of Iraq May 12 parliamentary poll after many parties and blocs warned that there have been frauds in the election.
