Turkish fighter jets bomb three villages in Dohuk province

Turkish army fighters bombed three villages in the Dirluk region in the Duhok province of the Kurdistan Region on Tuesday, April 6.

The three villages of Siri, Birman and Hitut, located behind Linki Mountain in the Dirluk area of ​​the Duhok province, were the target of a heavy attack by Turkish fighter jets, Weshe news site quoted local sources as saying.

No details have been released about the damage or possible casualties of the attack, but the normal lives of the residents in the area have been disrupted as the mountain plant collection season has arrived.

Yesterday, other areas of Duhok province were bombed by the Turkish army.

According to news reports, over the past few years, more than 110 civilians living in Duhok province have been wounded and 40 others have been killed due to Turkish air, ground and artillery attacks.

Also, during these years, at least 591 villages in the region have been evacuated and deserted.
