According to Radio Nova news site, Salahaddin Baha'addin noted during an internal meeting of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Party that the Kurdistan Region needs fundamental reforms, especially in terms of social and educational, adding that his union opposes any war and demands peace in the region.

The Secretary General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Party warned that the outbreak of civil war and genocide in the Kurdish region would be catastrophic and would endanger the entire structure of the region.

He accused the KRG of not paying any attention to the situation of the youth in the region and not taking any serious action in the fight against drugs, which threatens the youth of the region.
