According to Howlati, Masoud Barzani met with Iraqi Defense Minister Thabit Mohammad Saeed Abbasi on Saturday in Salahuddin. 

Barzani's information office announced: In this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the situation in Iraq, the fight against terrorism, the coordination and joint work of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army.
