As reported by the press, Ismail Baqaei, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a message on X channel, while announcing this news, wrote: "Dr. Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will visit Turkey on Friday for an official visit.

He continued: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to continuously strengthen relations with its neighbors based on the policy of good neighborliness and common interests.

It is worth mentioning that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan visited Tehran on December 9.

Previously, Reuters quoted sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry as saying that Araghchi will travel to Turkey on Friday to discuss with his counterpart Hakan Fidan about recent developments in Iran and tensions with the United States.
