According to Kurdpress, Barzani's headquarters announced in a statement about Massoud Barzani's meeting with General Mazloum Abdi that in this meeting, the situation of Syrian Kurdistan and the process of implementing the agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) as well as the latest developments in Syria were discussed.

Based on this statement, Masoud Barzani emphasized that both parties should adhere to the full implementation of the provisions of this agreement and that there should be necessary coordination between all parties in the future stages.

He has also demanded that the rights of the Kurdish nation be guaranteed and established in a clear manner in the future processes and in the Syrian constitution.
