Basic details of the reasons for the crash of Turkish F-16

Turkish Service - The Ministry of Defense of Turkey, in the initial explanation about the crash of the F-16 fighter jet in Balik Asir, announced that this plane suffered a sudden loss of radio communication and radar signal after taking off for an air warning mission.

According to Kordpress, the Ministry of Defense of Turkey today provided details about the recent accident of an F-16 fighter plane and announced that this plane had been flown in the framework of the "Rapid Warning Response" mission. The mission was executed after an unidentified radar trace was detected near the Bulgarian border, and the two fighters simultaneously took off from the Ninh Jet Base in Balik Asir.

According to the official announcement, at 00:56 in the morning, the radio communication with one of the fighters was cut off, and at the same time, its radar tracking information was also lost. After this incident, the search and rescue operation was started and finally the wreckage of the plane was identified.

In the preliminary investigations, it has been determined that the pilot tried to leave the plane by activating the emergency exit system (eject) in the final moments. However, the main cause of the crash is still unclear and the Ministry of Defense has emphasized that the final result will be announced after a detailed investigation by the Military Air Accidents Investigation Team.

Military officials also stated that until the completion of technical investigations, any speculation about the cause of the accident is invalid and only official announcements will be the basis of information.

It should be remembered that yesterday morning, a Turkish F-16 fighter plane crashed in Balik Asir province, as a result of which its pilot Ibrahim Bulat lost his life.
