According to Kurdpress, Mazloum Abdi, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in a tweet, referring to his meeting with Bafel Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, as well as Trump's special representative for Syria, Thomas Barak, announced that these meetings were held in a positive and constructive atmosphere and focused on strengthening joint cooperation, reviewing recent developments, including the January 29 agreement, and efforts to increase stability and security in the region.
Mazloum Abdi, the commander-in-chief of the SDF, published a tweet on his official page in X and announced that he had a "fruitful and useful" meeting with Bafel Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
Expressing his satisfaction with this meeting, he emphasized: "We value partnership and joint cooperation in order to build a better future for our people, and this meeting has strengthened bilateral cooperation and shows our commitment to create strong and fruitful relations."
Abdi also announced another meeting with Trump's special representative for Syria, Thomas Barak. According to him, the latest developments in the region, including the January 29 agreement, were discussed in this meeting.
The commander-in-chief of the SDF considered this meeting an opportunity to exchange views on ways to strengthen stability and security in the region and joint cooperation to deal with the challenges that the Syrian people are facing.
