According to Kurdpress, a joint statement from the two Movements about the meeting stated that in this meeting, in addition to congratulation the Patriotic Union delegation on the success of the General Congress of the change Movement and its reorganization process, the two sides once again emphasized the national responsibility and historical duty of all political parties to keep the Kurdistan Region away from war and protect its stability.

It was also noted that the current situation has created a sensitive stage that require unity, solidarity and a common stance among Kurds more than ever before, and efforts must be made to prevent internal conflicts between political currents and to ensure the security and peace of the Kurdistan Region and its citizens should be protected from any threat.

In another part of the meeting, the political process in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, as well as the security, economic, and livelihood situation of the people of the Region, were discussed and examined.

This Saturday, a delegation from the Change Movement traveled to the political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Sulaymaniyah and met with party's delegation.
