Failure to send internal revenues to Baghdad; It means cutting off the salaries of employees of the region

Service of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region - Ali Hame Saleh, the head of the Patriotic Position Movement, announced that without sending the internal revenues of the Kurdistan Region to Baghdad, there is no possibility of paying employees' salaries and the promise of paying salaries before Eid al-Adha will not be fulfilled if this situation continues.

According to Kurdpress, Ali Hame Saleh, head of the Patriotic Movement Movement, announced about the salary case of employees of the Kurdistan Region: On the one hand, the excuse is given that the federal government does not send the incomes, and on the other hand, it is said that the salaries will be paid before Eid al-Adha, while without sending the internal incomes, it is basically not possible to pay the salaries.

He added: The Ministry of Finance of Iraq has emphasized that the Kurdistan Region must adhere to its obligations and deliver the revenues, but the regional officials have said that they do not have any revenues.

Ali Hama Saleh's statement was in response to the words of Sarwa Abdulwahid, the Minister of Environment of the federal government, who said that the Iraqi Finance Minister had informed him that even if the Kurdistan Regional Government does not send its internal revenue of 120 billion dinars, he will pay the salaries of the employees of the region before Eid al-Adha.

The head of the Patriotic Position Movement also responded to these statements and said: Baghdad has proposed to deduct the amount of income from salaries, but so far the region has not agreed to deduct 120 billion dinars, because this amount will ultimately be deducted from the salaries of the salary earners.

He further stated: The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has not yet issued an official letter about oil from the Kurdistan Region and there are concerns about stopping the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region.
