Official describes Kurdistan Region parties as defeated

<p style="text-align:left">A leading member of the Kurdistan Islamic Community described, in an interview with Kurdpress, the political parties of the region as defeated which are not ready to reconsider their policies.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), the ruling parties in Kurdistan Region, have failed to form a Kurdistani alliance in Bghdad with the four opposition Kurdish parties of the region.

Answering a question about the reason behind the opposition of the opposition parties to join the KDP and PUK alliance, Raber stated that the ruling system of the parties is failed and they are not ready to reconsider their policies and make real reforms; they have gripped on power and have stopped short of solving Kurdish troubles in Baghdad.
The official further added in the interview that the four opposition parties in the regiin are seeking to play a serious and key role in the new Iraqi parliament and government.
