Iraq PM Kadhimi discusses security with NATO secretary-general

Iraqi Prime Minster Mustafa al-Kadhimi met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for a discussion on Iraq’s security and stability, including NATO support for the country’s security forces.

A statement from the PM’s office reported Kadhimi and Stoltenberg spoke on the fight against tIslamic State (ISIS) militants in Iraq and its affects on the country after the terrorist group was defeated.
Stoltenberg, according to the statement, said NATO would continue to assist Iraq with training and consulting.
Both Kadhimi and Stoltenberg have agreed to improve and strengthen cooperation between NATO and Iraq.
