U.S. proved it is unreliable: former spokesman

<p style="text-align: left;">The former spokesman of the U.S. Department of State stated in remarks about the White House plan to withdraw its forces from Syria that the move proved to Syrian Kurds that Washington in not reliable and is not a reliable and trustworthy ally.

John Kerby told CNN in an interview that the U.S. decision to withdraw from Syria and leave its Kurdish allies to their own destiny will be damaging.

Expressing his worry over the decision, he added that “we proved to our allies that we are not reliable.”

He further stated that Turkey, too, is not reliable as the country stopped short of fighting against the terrorist group of the Islamic State (IS).

Kerby reiterated that Turkey is solely seeking to hit Kurds in Syria.
