NATO calls for Erbil-Baghdad talks

<p style="text-align: left;">NATO deputy secretary general called on the Iraqi central government and the Kurdish autonomous region to resume ties and hold talks in this regard.

Rose Gutmoler stressed in a meeting in Yerevan, the capital Armenia, on quick resumption of talks between Erbil and Baghdad over their political and economic troubles.

According to Armenia&rsquo;s official news agency, NATO official said in a speech in Armenia&rsquo;s national university that NATO backs Iraq&rsquo;s integrity and unity but wants Iraq to cooperate with the Kurdish region which is a force potential to create economic development and stability.

She added that NATO is not planning to ease talks between the two governments but wants to follow a special policy and it is not NATO&rsquo;s duty to settle the tension.
