Iran, Iraqi FMs discuss bilateral ties in Tehran

<p style="text-align: left;">Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed Ali al-Hakim on Saturday in Tehran where the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two states.

Visiting Iran along with Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi on a two-day official visit, Ali al-Hakim, met with the top Zarif on Saturday afternoon.

In the meeting, the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the trend of relations between the two countries, and also expressed their support for further developing the relations between the two brotherly and neighboring nations in various political, economic and border areas, Mehr News Agency reported.

The two top diplomats of the two countries also traded view on the most important issues in the region.
