The strike hit the villages of Pira Braim, Pungsta, and Sarshew in the province in Kurdistan Region, NRT reported.
“The damage is as yet unknown, but the airstrike has sparked panic among the villagers,” Rostai said.
The Turkish military routinely conducts air and artillery strikes on suspected Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) targets in the Kurdistan Region. However, the strikes sometimes result in civilian casualties and damage to property and farmland.
