The forces’ joint patrols took place in the afternoon hours of Sunday, it said, citing a correspondent from the area.
The SDF is spearheaded by the People’s Protection Units (YPG), a Syrian Kurdish force that is controlling the northern part of Syria.
A number of military vehicles belonging to the SDF and the global coalition toured the centre of the central market before heading towards the border villages in the region and eventually arriving at their stations in the countryside of Tel Half, ANHA said.
U.S. forces have relied on the SDF ground forces to largely defeat Islamic State (IS) in northern and eastern Syria.
The patrols come as Turkey has increased its military presence along the Syrian border, signalling the start of a possible assault on the YPG.
Turkey on Wednesday said Ankara was running out of patience with the United States in talks to set up what it calls a safe zone in northern Syria and remove Syrian Kurdish forces from the area.
