We are seeking to weaken support to KDP, PUK: Yusuf Muhammad

<p style="text-align: left;">The former Kurdistan Region parliament speaker stated that his party, Movement for Change (Gorran), is attempting to weaken support from the ruling parties of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).

The resigned parliament speaker, Yusuf Muhammad, told Reuters that the movement is to lessen support from the two parties, adding that the two parties do not have any thing new for their supporters.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Rauf, former Kurdistan Region Minister of Trade and a leading member of Alliance for Justice and Democracy stated that the two ruling parties have felt the threat.
