Turkish army Unit enters village in Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align: left;">A unit of Turkish army entered a village in the Kurdistan Region&amp;rsquo;s sub-district of Sidakan on Thursday, May 31.

According to NRT the T unit entered Barmiza village with military vehicles met with the villagers in the village&rsquo;s mosque.

Turkish army has told the villagers that they were there to &ldquo;target fighters of the Kurdistan Workers&rsquo; Party (PKK)&rdquo;, the report said.

A Turkish army&rsquo;s commander has also said they would stay in the area for a period, but he did not specify a timeline, sources said.

The Turkish army has entered 20 kilometers into the Kurdistan Region, local authorities said. The Turkish military has also created a number of military bases inside the Region.
