Nechirvan Barzani congratulates PUK leaders on election

<p style="text-align: left;">Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Wednesday, February 26, congratulated new Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) co-presidents, Lahur Sheikh Jangi and Bafel Talabani on their election.

According to NRT Barzani wished the pair success in their new position as leaders of the PUK and hailed the important role of the party in the Kurdistan Region’s fight for freedom.

He also said that he hoped that the pair will work to unite the party and follow the model of the late Jalal Talabani.
