According to Kurdpress, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo strongly criticized the abandonment of Syrian Kurdish allies by the US.

In response to the statements of American Senator Lindsey Graham, who said that there is a community in the United States to support the Syrian Kurds, Pompeo called these statements a kind of lie and accused the Donald Trump administration of betraying the Syrian Kurds who risked their lives as American infantry in the war against ISIS.

Pompeo has emphasized that the US action to release the Syrian Kurds against the general attack of the government under the orders of Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the head of the Syrian interim government, is a moral and strategic disaster for the US government.
