According to Kurdpress, Turkish Defense Minister Yashar Güler, during a visit to the 12th Commando Brigade Command in Osmania city, demanded that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) adhere to their agreements with the Syrian interim government. He emphasized that the implementation of these agreements is necessary for the security of Türkiye's borders, stable stability and political integration of Syria, and added that Ankara has close coordination with Damascus in this regard.

Turkey's Defense Minister Yashar Güler visited the 12th Commando Brigade headquarters in Osmania city along with a number of senior army commanders and spoke about the settlement process and the latest developments in Syria and Syrian Kurdistan.

Yashar Güler asked the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to adhere to their agreements with the Syrian government and declared: "For the security of our borders, as well as for the lasting stability and political integrity of Syria, the YPG/SDF forces must implement the provisions of the March 10 and January 18 agreements without delay.

He added that Ankara is in close coordination with the Syrian government regarding the implementation of these agreements with the SDF.

The Turkish Defense Minister also pointed to the settlement process inside Turkey and said: "This is a historic project that is managed by the efforts of our army in the field and with a wise approach at the government level. "For the success of this process, the PKK and its affiliated groups, especially in Syria, must end their activities and lay down their weapons as soon as possible without any conditions.

Güler also said about Turkey's overseas military operations: "Until we fully ensure that terrorist organizations are no longer a threat to our country and until the desired level of security is reached, the operations planned for them will continue without stopping.
