According to Kurdpress, in an unprecedented move, the Iraqi Parliament decided to publish the agenda of its meetings in Kurdish.
This decision was taken while since the establishment of the Iraqi Parliament in 2005, despite the fact that the Kurdish language is the second official language of the country according to the constitution, the agenda of the meetings was always published only in Arabic.
In this context, the information department of the Iraqi Parliament has for the first time published the agenda of the upcoming session of the parliament in Kurdish.
A parliamentary source also announced: "Parliament has decided to publish the meeting agenda in Kurdish from now on in a practical and continuous manner.
According to the information department of the parliament, the next meeting will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.
The agenda of this meeting includes the following:
Swearing in of several new parliament members
Voting on the formation of permanent parliamentary commissions
Despite the speculations, the agenda of Monday's meeting does not have any specific item on the election of the Iraqi president, and the case remains in abeyance.
