The coalition ignored the role of Hessed and Peshmerga

Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service - Hoshiar Zibari, a member of the executive board of the political office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, announced that the international anti-ISIS coalition ignored the role of the Peshmerga and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Riyadh meeting. While these two forces, with the support of the coalition, played an essential role in the defeat of ISIS.

According to Kordpress, Hoshiar Zibari wrote this evening in a message on the "X" social network that the final statement of the recent meeting of the international coalition against ISIS in Riyadh - which was held with the participation of "New Syria" - was completely devoid of any reference to the central role of the Kurds.

He emphasized that the Peshmerga forces in Iraq and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria, with the support of the international coalition, played a decisive role in the defeat of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).
