According to Kurdpress, Wafa Mohammad Karim, one of the leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq, emphasized this Friday that the Iraqi presidential case has not yet been determined.

Karim clarified that the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government has a direct impact on the Iraqi presidency.

He stated that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has delayed the formation of the government of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in order to proceed jointly with the presidency.

Wafa Mohammad Karim pointed out that the demand of the Democratic Party is to form the regional government before determining the duties of the presidency, and said that so far there is no agreement between the parties in this regard.
