According to Kurdpress, after the publication of reports about the transfer of equipment from the Remilan oil fields to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, "Farhad Shami", the director of the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), categorically denied this issue.
According to Al-Arabiya, "Farhad Shami", the director of the SDF media center, announced on Sunday: "These claims are just fabricated lies aimed at destroying the image of the SDF and creating sedition among the Syrian people."
He added: "These accusations have no basis and reliable field truth and are completely baseless. During the last decade of the Syrian crisis, the SDF has always protected its national wealth and equipment and maintained security and stability in the areas under its control.
The denial came after local sources in Haskeh province, in northern and eastern Syria, said last Friday that the SDF had moved a significant portion of equipment from the Remilan oil fields.
The workers of Remilan Oil Company in Haske province told the German news agency: "During the past week, elements of the Kurdistan Workers' Party have moved machinery, electric generators, cars and oil tanks."
The unidentified workers added: "Since the visit of the public security commander and a delegation from the Ministry of Energy on February 9, these elements have started transferring equipment and machinery and everything that could be transferred, and the operation continues from other fields such as Tal Ades, Kratshuk and Sweidieh to the Samalka border and from there to northern Iraq."
