Iran have never sought war

We have not sought tension or war at any point, and we have the necessary will to end this war by complying with its requirements, especially the necessary guarantee to prevent the recurrence of aggression.

According to Kurdpress, Massoud Pezeshkian, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Antonia Costa, president of the European Council, discussed and exchanged views in a telephone conversation on the latest situation and consequences of the war imposed by the United States and Israel against Iran, as well as the current situation in the region.

In this interview, Pezeshkian criticized the negative approach and biased positions of the European Union and some European countries towards the blatant aggression of by the United States and Israel against Iran, and stated that the military aggression of the United States and Israel against is not only an unprecedented crime against the Iranian nation, but also a gross violation of the rule of law and attack on all the principles and rules that the European Union claims to protect.

Pezeshkian continued by emphasizing that the Strait of Hormuz is closed to the ships and vessels of the aggressors and their supporters, and warned: Any foreign intervention under any pretext in this war and the current situation in the region will have dangerous consequences.

In this dialogue, Antonia Costa, president of the European Council, while emphasizing the need to stop the war and tension in the region and expressing concern the negative political and economic consequences of this war in the world, said: "European countries have never supported this aggression against Iran and consider it a violation of international law and rules."

The president of the European Council also called for resolving issues through negotiations and peaceful solutions.
