Iran War is on Geostrategic Deadlock

Turkey service – In a conversation with the NATO Secretary General, the Turkish President warned of the escalation of tensions in the Iran-related war and called for increased diplomatic efforts to end the conflicts.

According to Kurdpress, Turkish President Erdogan warned in a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that the ongoing war against Iran is heading towards a geostrategic stalemate and the international community must increase its efforts to end this crisis.

Referring to the escalation of tensions following interventions against Iran, Erdogan warned that this trend could lead to continued instability in the region and emphasized the need to strengthen diplomatic efforts to stop the conflicts.

He also highlighted cooperation within the alliance and appreciated NATO's support for Turkey's air defense systems, saying that the solidarity of the alliance's members in the current circumstances has once again demonstrated its deterrent power.

The Turkish President also referred to the war between Russia and Ukraine and emphasized Ankara's continued efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, an effort that has been accompanied by Turkey's mediating role in this crisis.
