According to Kurdpress, Srvah Abdol-Wahed, by announcing this position, emphasized that most of the parliamentary factions will also vote for Nizar Amidi.
She added: "only 10 Kurdish representatives will vote for Muthanna Amin, the candidate supported by three Kurdish movements."
Srvah Abdol-Wahed also stated that the Kurdistan Democratic Party refused to participate in the presidential election meeting and boycotted it.
This announcement of support comes as the Iraqi parliament session to elect a president has begun after completing the quorum with the presence of 223 representatives.
