According to Kurdpress, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, strongly condemned the attacks on areas in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, despite the ceasefire that was established after 40 days of conflict in the region, and emphasized once again that Erbil was not part of the war.

According to Shafaq News, Barzani added that despite the ceasefire and negotiations, 5 people were killed and many others were injured in the recent attacks.

He stated that this is an attempt to violate the ceasefire and cause more damage to the region.

The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region further emphasized that the federal government should take practical measures to end these attacks.

In the end, Barzani asked the international partners to provide the necessary equipment to protect the Kurds and the energy infrastructure against this continuous threat.
