According to Zeman Press, Jaafar Imenki, a prominent member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party told a media outlet close to the party about the Iraqi presidential candidate that: "There were differences in the past, but now the current situation in Iraq requires that differences to be put aside and get united."
Imenki further added: This alliance will lead to a good achievement and the result will be the appointment of a Kurdish candidate for the presidential post.
He also pointed out that the party is not fighting to get any position, but it is fighting for the rights of the Kurdish people.
