North and East Syria Administration denies Ankara's claim

The Autonomous Administration of North and Eastern Syria condemned the terrorist explosion in Istanbul's Taksim Square by publishing a statement and rejected the claims of the Turkish government regarding the connection of the Autonomous Administration with the terrorist explosion in Istanbul.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement regarding the explosion in Taqsim Square in Istanbul and the claim of the Turkish government against the military institutions of the autonomous administration.

This statement, which was published in Hawar news agency, is as follows:

"In line with the actions of the Turkish government and the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, the Turkish government has made claims and created scenarios to deceive the public opinion of the Turkish people, this scenario is completely far from reality. The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria condemns the terrorist explosion that took place in Taqsim Square in Istanbul where some civilians were killed. After this incident, the Turkish government and the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey claimed that the autonomous administration and its military institutions were related to the terrorist incident in Istanbul. We reject these claims and say that the autonomous administration and its institutions have nothing to do with the incident in Istanbul."

"These claims are far from reality and we emphasize that we do not have any identity document with the name "Ahlam Bashir" and we demand an investigation into this incident so that impartial and international committees investigate that incident and the results for the public opinion. We also ask the public not to believe these claims, because the Turkish government's goal is to hide its internal crisis and to instill its false plans and projects into the public opinion."
