Iran, Syria officials discuss agenda in next Astana meeting

<p style="text-align: left;">Senior assistant to Iran's foreign minister Hossein Jaberi-Ansari and Bashar Jaafari, Permanent Representative of the Syria to the UN have discussed the agenda of the upcoming round of Astana talks in Kazakh capital.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), during the meeting both sides reviewed issues related to the Astana talks on Syrian crisis.

The 11th round of Astana talks is slated to be held with the attendance of Syria, Iran, Russia and Turkey on November 28-29 in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of Jordan and the United Nations are also expected to attend as observers, IRNA reported.

Ansari who arrived in Astana on Monday is also scheduled to attend bilateral meetings with various delegations to discuss the latest development in Syria, issues related to the peace process, intra-Syrian talks and establishing constitutions.
