Last IS-controlled region in Syria liberated

<p style="text-align: left;">A Syrian Kurdish reporter in Baghoz, Deir Ez-Zor region, told Kurdpress that the Kurdish-Arab forces of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated Baghoz, a town in the province on Tuesday.

The town was the last IS-controlled region in Syria and it was fully liberated by the Kurdish-Arab forces.

The reporter, Diar Amo, confirmed the report in talking with Kurdpress and stated that the IS caliphate in Syria is over.

Baghoz was the last IS stronghold where the forces and their families had taken shelter.
