Saadollah Masoudian, Iran consul in Sulaimani, announced that Iranian consulate general will issue free visa for Iraqi citizens from April 1.

Earlier on March 27, the Iraqi Council of Ministers passed a bill to lift visa charges for Iranians.

Referring to charging Iranians 25,000 Iraqi dinar while entering the Kurdish region, Masoudian said that the Kurdish officials will be committed to Federal government of Iraq in this regard.

Meanwhile, director general of Iraqi Kurdistan region public relations office with Iran Abdollah Salih told IRNA that KRG will comply with the Federal government of Iraq’s decision.
