In the wake of releasing rumors on death of Ibrahim al-Jaafariin social media, his offices in a statement rejected the gossips.

The statement rejected the rumors released by BBC Arabic in social media.

This is the second time that gossips are being released on death of former Iraqi foreign minister, IRNA reported.

Ibrahim al-Jaafari is an Iraqi politician who was Prime Minister of Iraq in the Iraqi Transitional Government from 2005 to 2006, following the January 2005 election.

He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2014–2018.
