<p style="text-align: left;">Sever clashes erupted on Sunday evening between the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Turkish army in Bradost mountains, northern Erbil province.

Kurdistan 24 cited its correspondent in the region as saying that the two clashed at around 7:00 pm local time, in the town of Sidakan in Bradost area, pointing out that the Turkish army soon deployed helicopters to bombard the area.
No details are currently available on possible casualties from the military confrontation, while it reportedly caused panic among the residents of the villages.
The PKK is designated by Turkey as a "terrorist organization" as the two sides are in a decades-long conflict over the Kurdish question in the country.
