According to Miraj Magazine, the University of Oslo recently published the results of its research project on the campaign results of groups such as ISIS, the Syrian Kurds and Hamas.

Researchers at the research project believe that while groups such as ISIS have a violent and competitive approach to rival groups or citizens, the Syrian Kurds, who have established a self-government system in northern Syria, have a pragmatic approach and are not too violent.

The study also cited the transfer of part of the general and military management to women as one of the reasons for the Syrian Kurds' success in controlling large parts of northern Syria, and stressed that Syrian Kurdish women's units fought alongside men against ISIS.

The University of Oslo's research project compares security mechanisms and the legitimacy of the Syrian Kurds and ISIS, citing the use of security mechanisms and the acquisition of traditional legitimacy in the Middle East as the reasons for the failure of a terrorist group such as ISIS.
