Tehran welcomes Baghdad-Erbil deals: envoy

<p style="text-align: left;">Iran&amp;rsquo;s Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi said that Iran welcomes recent agreements between Baghdad and Erbil including reopening of Erbil and Sulaymani airports in Kurdistan Region.

In a message on Thursday, he referred to dialogues and agreements reached between Baghdad and Erbil over recent weeks, saying that Islamic Republic has always stressed the need for removing differences and solving problems, IRNA reported.

Pointing to Tehran&rsquo;s good ties with all Iraqi ethnic tribes and groups, Masjedi said that Iran makes all efforts to solve problems through peaceful means within the framework of integrated Iraq and its Constitution.

Masjedi hailed recent agreements between the two sides as effective in normalizing and strengthening economic and social ties both inside and outside Iraq, hoping that new deals between Baghdad and Erbil would help further improve economic and investment situation in various parts of the country.

The Iranian envoy hoped that all the problems would be resolved gradually through the two sides&rsquo; efforts.
