Shariatmadari made the remarks in an address to the meeting on Iran-KRG economic opportunities in Erbil on Wednesday.

According to IRNA he said at the meeting that trade system will reinforce domestic investment in both countries.

He underlined high-level political relations between two sides.

Iranian minister expressed hope that the meeting will provide an opportunity for better identification of business opportunities in Iran and Kurdistan Region.

Iran is also ready to secure safe domestic and foreign investment, he said.

Iran and the KRG have agreed to form joint committee comprising economic activists of both sides to solve problems with expansion of the economic ties.
