Syrian government forces withdraw from northern Deir Ezzor

<p style="text-align: left;">The Syrian Kurdish-Arab democratic forces of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) could capture Salhya town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after Syrian government forces withdrew it.

SDF could advance towards (Sakr petrol station and Al-Nema car scaling) areas in the town, without any clashes against the Syrian regime forces, which withdrew to the previous lines around the town, for unknown reasons, Masyoon website reported.

Salhya town is considered one of the prominent areas held by the Syrian forces on the eastern shores of Euphrates river, in addition to the Russian militias existence near it.

The town was a center for launching operations of the Syrian forces toward Janina and Jia towns, where SDF could re-capture both of them, backed up by the US-Led Coalition.
