Erbil-Baghdad relations, foreign investment opportunities and developments in the energy and banking sectors in Kurdistan and Iraq were discussed in the meeting, the region's presidency office said in a statement.
Barzani and Billingslea also discussed ways to counter terror financing. They stressed that in order to completely eradicate IS extremist and terrorist ideologies, the financial resources of ISIS should be eliminated and their financial activities must be blocked.
U.S. Consul General in Erbil, Steven Fagin, attended the meeting.
