The pair also shed light on the relations of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with the United Kingdom, stressing on the continuation of international cooperations to address the recent issues in Iraq, Syria, and the region in general, the statement added.
They further exchanged views on the Islamic State's (IS) resurgence as the jihadist group has lately regrouped itself in the majority of liberated areas in Iraq.
