Erbil Airport resumes operations after Monday rocket attack

A day after a rocket attack the previous night, Head of the Erbil International Erbil Ahmad Hoshyar said on Tuesday afternoon, February 16, that the airport had resumed normal flight operations.

At least three rockets hit locations on the north side of Erbil city on Monday evening, which killed one person and wounded nine others, NRT reported.

Hoshyar said that there are “no danger” to the airport for now and that flights could resume.
