Turkey likely to resume attack on Syrian Kurdistan: commander

<p style="text-align: left;">A commander of the Syrian Kurdish Women Protection Units (YPJ) believes Turkey has received a severe defeat in Syria&amp;rsquo;s Idlib and any Ankara action into Kurdish-dominated northern Syria is not unlikely.

Referring to the dangers of transferring armed groups from Idlib to Sari Kani and Gary Spi by Turkey, the General Commander of the YPJ, Nasrin Abdullah told Kurdpress that "we are closely watching every move by Turkey and its affiliated armed groups.&rdquo;

She continued as saying that they are aware of the transfer of 6,000 armed fighters from Idlib to Gry Spi and Sari Kani.

"We do not know what Turkey's intention is yet, but we have taken all necessary security measures," she further stated about the situation in northern Syria.

Referring to the possibility of another attack by Turkey and its affiliated forces armed into Syrian Kurdistan, Abdullah said: "Nothing is unlikely. In Idlib, Erdogan has suffered a great defeat and is not strong enough against Russia, so he is suffering from the situation.&rdquo;

The commander went onto say that there is a possibility that Turkey will take another initiative, but occur forces are always on high alert.
