Iraq seeking to restore confidence to political system: Amar al-Hakim

<p style="text-align: left;">Sayyid Amar al-Hakim, the leader of the National Wisdom Movement, spoke with the UN Special Representative in Iraq, stated in remarks in a meeting with the UN Representative to Iraq, Janine Henis Plaskhart, that the political parties and the government in Iraq are seeking to restore confidence to the political system in the country.

According to al-Hakim&rsquo;s media office the two sides also discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region and the health crisis facing all countries in the world.

During the visit, held at the National Wisdom Movement&rsquo;s Office in Baghdad, Al-Hakim stressed the need to increase efforts to confront the coronavirus epidemic and resolve the economic situation resulting from the drop in oil prices.

Referring to the early election file and the need to determine the laws related to it, al-Hakim called on the United Nations to help Iraq with training and exchange of experience.

Iraqion is an Iraqi coalition that works to support the government and restore confidence in the political system, and its doors are open to all who believe in these goals, Ammar al-Hakim said about al-Iraqion Coalition.
