According to kurdpress, the head of the Iraqi State Ports Company announced that the activities of the oil ports of this country have been completely halted after two oil tankers were targeted.

The Director General of the Iraqi Ports company said that a bout belonging to the Iraqi Ports company rescued 25 crew members from two vessels, and that the fires on both vessels are still ongoing.

Iranian official emphasized that these operations were carried out within the framework of the inherent right of self-defense with the aim of deterring and preventing aggression.
