According to Kurdpress, in continuation of efforts to implement agreements between the Autonomous Administration and Damescus, two key figures from northern and eastern Syria traveled to Syrian capital with the aim of advancing negotiations and reviewing recent developments; a trip that, while promising progress, is accompanied by serious challenges.
According to the Kurdish news agency Valat, Elham Ahmad, the joint head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Autonomous Administrationof north and east Syria, along with Mazloum Abdi the commander of SDF, traveled to Damescus to meet with officials of the Syrian interim government.
This trip took place within the framework of continuing the implementation of the January 29 agreement and is considered an important step on the path of the dialogue between the autonomous Administration and the center Syrian government.
It is expected that the recent meeting in Damescus will help remove some of these obstacle and bring the dialogue process to a more effective stage.
