There will be no clashes between Shiites: Hadi al-Amiri

The head of the Fatah parliamentary coalition in Iraq stressed that no conflict will happen among Shitte group in Iraq.

"This will not happen," said Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Fatah parliamentary coalition in Iraq, referring to some intentions to create conflict between Shiite groups in Iraq.

He told those who are seeking a clash between Shiite groups in Iraq that the issue would not happen, according to Middle East News.

Speaking at Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes Center in Baghdad, he said: "Some people spend money to create conflict between Shiite groups. This will not happen as long as there the religious authority is Ayatollah Sistani, and Shiite leaders are generally wise and rational, and we assure them that we will not be dragged away."

Al-Amiri underscored that "our war is with the enemies and the terrorist group of the ISIS and for the liberation of the lands and the realization of a complete Iraq national sovereignty.

The head of the Fatah coalition, on the other hand, noted about the attempted assassination on Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi: "We discussed this issue in a meeting with the security commanders, the chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, the president and the prime minister. We are to prosecute the perpetrators, whoever it is, and there will be no secrecy in this regard.

He went on to add: "did this happen at all or not, is the drone attack true or not?" I, Hadi Al-Amiri, am the strictest person in identifying the perpetrators of this act, whoever they are, and would hand them over to the judiciary.

Al-Amiri continued: "The prime ministry is a post reserved for the Shiites, and no wise Shiite will attack it, but perhaps the enemies have done so, which is why we insist on conducting research."

The head of Fatah coalition further said: "We and the brothers in armed groups emphasized to the Prime Minister that this action is unacceptable, and we emphasized on the trial of the perpetrator of this attack."

The Iraqi Prime Minister's house was attacked by a drone last Sunday morning.
